Director at USS, James Williams will be a guest speaker at the Marine-i Marine Technology Transformers event on Friday 1st November at Heartlands in Cornwall, UK. We will also be showcasing the new Accession Class USV at this event.
Since early 2017, the ERDF funded Marine-i project has been working with Cornish businesses to stimulate market-led Marine Technology RD&I with the potential to underpin transformational economic growth in the region.
This event will showcase the outcomes and impact of this work which includes award-winning technology, products for global markets, industry and research collaborations and the potential for ongoing and sustainable success.
The day will include:
- An exhibition showcasing some of the award-winning technology, products for global markets and industry and research collaborations which have benefited from support from Marine-I,
- The launch of a video and publication intended to document the successes achieved over the last two and a half years which will make clear the strength of the Marine Technology sector and act as inspiration for future support,
- Speakers discussing how collaboration, innovation and support have accelerated growth and discuss how an ongoing commitment to market-led, collaborative RD&I is essential to ensure that our regions current success continues to grow.
